Meet Tom Bauters
Tom received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Grand Valley State University.
Tom has worked for over 11 years for national public accounting firms and over 22 years for multinational publicly traded companies. In November 2014, he launched Tom Bauters CPA as a tax services firm.
Tom provides tax preparation as well as strategic tax planning services to individuals, businesses, farms, estates, and trusts. His diverse business experience provides individuals and business clients the basis for planning, implementing, and managing a broad spectrum of financial matters. He also provides expert tax controversy services as he has successfully resolved a multitude of IRS, state, and local tax audits for both individuals and businesses.
Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Tax Executives Institute.
Tom is a member of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation Board of Trustees, Treasurer of the Akron, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and a Reserve Deputy on the Road Patrol Unit for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department.
Tom’s business partner is his wife, Lanette, and their business office is located within their home.
